History

We originally began as Mother’s Day Out (MDO) at Christ Church, The Lutheran Church of Zionsville. MDO was founded in 1986 as an outreach of the congregation when the need for an additional early childhood Christian program in the Zionsville community became apparent. In September 2003, Christ Church Preschool opened its doors as another exciting early childhood option for the Zionsville community. In 2008, we changed our name to Christ Church Early Childhood Ministry (ECM) to reflect our dedication to helping children in our program attain age-appropriate developmental goals.

Christ Church ECM programs are a ministry of Christ Church, a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.

Classes will begin the Tuesday after Labor Day and conclude the Thursday before Memorial Day. We follow the Zionsville Community School calendar with the exception of the beginning and end of the year.
