Christ Church Early Childhood Ministry (ECM) is proud to be a Registered Child Care Ministry with the state of Indiana. This certification is an assurance to our parents that we provide a safe learning environment for our students. As a Registered Child Care Ministry:
- We are inspected by the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration (FSSA) multiple times per year, to ensure our adherence to all requirements of the program.
- We are inspected each year by the state Fire Marshall to ensure that our classrooms, our building, and our facilities comply with requirements of the Fire Prevention and Building Safety Commission. We ensure our fire alarms and smoke detectors work dependably, and we conduct fire drills as required.
- We require proof of immunization of our students as required by the state of Indiana, to ensure a healthy learning environment.
- We carefully conduct criminal history background checks of all our employees, staff, and volunteers, and we maintain these records for accuracy.
- We are inspected for, and follow, guidelines on hygiene and safety with our kitchen and bathroom facilities and equipment.
- State health and sanitation inspections are done twice yearly, unannounced.
- Foster children may attend our school now because we are a registered ministry.
- We encourage and invite all our parents to visit at any time!
